V-Key Inc, and its group of companies (“V-Key”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://www.v-key.com website and the V-Key VOS family of solutions, mobile applications and their components which include the V-OS virtual secure element (the “Services”). This document informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Services (“you”, “your” or “yours” means the persons to whom this policy applies).
We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Services. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
Information Collection And Use
While using our Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, or any information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify you as an individual (“Personal Information”).
V-Key Mobile Applications
If you use any of our V-OS VSE, and/or its family of applications such as V-OS Smart Token, V-OS Mobile App Protection, V-Key APP ID (V-OS App Identity), etc. (collectively “V-Key Mobile Applications”), in addition to the terms set out in this Policy, it will be governed by the privacy notice as set out in Appendix 1 of this document.
The V-Key Mobile Applications are designed to do the following:
V-OS VSE (Virtual Secure Element) is a secure element like the physical smart chip you find in credit cards and hardware tokens, that is designed to both protect the mobile application itself, as well as any transactions or data that are generated by the application. It is inherently secure and designed so that no personal information created inside the applicant using V-OS is readable by others.
The V-OS Smart Token family is set of related solutions using a one-time password generator called a soft token) that is protected by and requires V-OS to operate. This family of solutions includes the V-Key Smart Authenticator that provides a passwordless, cloud-based multi-factor authentication solution as a mobile application.
V-OS Mobile App Protection can be installed as part of V-OS and is designed to protect a mobile application from malware and other mobile threats which may compromise personal data generated inside your mobile application
V-Key’s V-OS App Identity solution creates an app-based software secure element based on the V-OS that is bound to every relevant app to ensure an app’s identity and integrity and to establish a trusted communication channel between apps and endpoints.
Log Data
We may also collect information that your browser or mobile applications that have V-OS and its family of solutions and components installed send whenever you visit our Services or when you access the Services by or through a mobile device (“Log Data”).
This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
When you access the Services by or through a mobile device, this Log Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics.
In addition, we may use third party Services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyse this type of information in order to increase our Services’s functionality. These third party Services providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.
Cookies
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
We use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Services.
Behavioural Remarketing
V-Key uses remarketing Services to advertise on third party web sites to you after you visited our Services. We, and our third party vendors, use cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past visits to our Services.
Google AdWords remarketing Services is provided by Google Inc.
You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page: http://www.google.com/settings/ads
Google also recommends installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on – https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout – for your web browser. Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provides visitors with the ability to prevent their data from being collected and used by Google Analytics.

Social Media
We may collect information about you in connection with social networking sites in several ways, such as:
• When you choose to join (or “like”) a V-Key page on a social networking site (such as the V-Key page on Facebook). In these situations, the social networking site may make some information about you available to V-Key. Please see the privacy policy for the respective social networking site(s) to learn more.
• When you interact with a V-Key social networking page or content, we may use cookies to learn which links you have clicked (please refer to the paragraphs 2(c) above about cookies and how we use the information collected).
• When you make information publicly available on your social networking page, we may collect that information.
• When you make use of the Social Sign-In feature to access content in-lieu of submitting a web form, the Social Sign-In feature allows Web form visitors the opportunity to connect to your online programs using their social network identity. Visitors can use their existing social networking site such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Salesforce to bypass a registration or sign-up Web form. Social Sign-In captures visitors’ current contact information and stores the information directly into the database.
We use this information for purposes described in the paragraph 3 above.

Public Forums
We collect other information, including Personal Information that you submit to our Website or as you participate in certain interactive features of our Services (such as the publicly accessible blogs or community forums). You should be aware that any information (including Personal Information) you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your Personal Information from our blog or community forum, contact us at privacy@v-key.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your Personal Information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
Testimonials/Reviews/Feedback
We may post customer testimonials on our Website, which may contain Personal Information. We do obtain the customer’s consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. If you want your testimonial removed, please contact us at privacy@v-key.com.
Services Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform related Services or to assist us in analysing how our Services is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Communications
We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us.
Legal Bases
We may process your Personal Information under any of the following legal bases: Consent, Legitimate Interest, Vital Interest of Individuals, Matters Affecting Public, Business Asset Transactions, Business Improvement Purposes.
Compliance with Laws
We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Services.
Business Transaction
